Bavarian Inn Frankenmuth MI Wedding | Olivia and Josh
Two weeks ago, a blast of sulpher, charcoal, and nitrate sent Olivia and Josh off into married life with a BANG. This amazing couple, joined by family and friends, celebrated through the night… just as it should be!!
Below are a few of my favorites from the day. (You can view them all or even order prints from the full gallery right here!)

The day started out with some quiet time for mommy and Griffin…
…but daddy was kept close by way of telephone!
When Griffin left for the morning, the girls set to work getting ready!
References were kept close at hand for hair and makeup inspiration. You can’t go wrong with a classic look!!
(I adore this next shot, taken through the arms of Shannon as she does Olivia’s makeup- Olivia reflected in the mirror..)
As the girls finish getting ready, the guys begin. Josh gets wired for audio recording of the ceremony.
The dress awaits! Olivia had such gorgeous accessories- a pearl necklace, cage hat, and sweet shoes. LOVE!
Mom gets to make the final finishing touch perfect:
Down in the bright, open pool room, the crowd gathers and the men get into place. The rain is pouring outside!
Griffin was able to be part of the ceremony as the family promised love for each other- forever!
With the ceremony over, we relaxed a little in the gorgeous courtyard! The rain had finally left, and the sun graciously dried up the puddles left behind.
Finally, Olivia and Josh got some alone time to wander the pretty grounds of the Bavarian Inn!
I adored the covered bridge!! Although the bridge was actually very busy, thankfully folks were very kind and left us fire off a few shots before they drove through.
Inside at the reception, the amazing (and, as it turns out, delicious!!) cake awaited…
The moment of truth!! To the DEATH!
Ted, a friend of Olivia and Josh’s and a Traverse City photographer himself, graciously set up an awesome photobooth for the night! You better believe it was well received and well used!
As the party raged inside, the boys headed out for some congratulatory cigars… rat pack style.
Aw, yeah. These are some stylin’ gentlemen.
Soon, the fireworks planned for the night began over the river! Perfect timing for some amazing photo opportunities…
Finally, it was time for goodbyes. Off to the elevator to call it a night and share a final wedding day kiss.
Josh and Olivia, it was such a pleasure being your photographer- from your Detroit Zoo engagement session to the exciting wedding day. I wish you a lifetime of love and crazy adventures together.
Congratulations!!!
