Chynna W from Commerce Township, MI – Graduation Photographs
Chynna and I have been friends for a while now, and let me tell you something: the girl is ALIVE. She has a presence that takes control and a smile that locks you in. When she wears bright red polka dot shoes, you better believe she is WEARING those things. And you know what? They might look ridiculous on me, but on her… she looks like a super star. She’s a wonderful person and I was thrilled to do her graduation photographs! Chynna came to me, desperate. She had gotten her senior photographs done at a “photography factory”. You know: Sit here. Turn this way. Put your hand here. SNAP SNAP SNAP, that’ll be $400.00. Needless to say, she hated her photographs and needed a do-over. Chynna deserves to be a rockstar in her photographs- because she is a rockstar!
Rockstar you want, rockstar you gets! I did Chynna’s photographs in downtown Dewitt, Michigan, and a bit in Lansing at night! We got a huge variety, from relaxing by a stream, plucking the guitar, to rocking out the courthouse. It was a blast and Chynna bared the cold like a trooper. (so did I!) It’s one of my best so far!

GREAT images…it looks like you had so much fun…I love all the personality you captured.
Great location, she is gonna love these images.
Wow! what a great set, I bet she loved these! your composition skills are excellent
Awesome photos! She certainly does seem like a rockstar and you absolutely ROCKED the shots! Well done!
These images rock. Love how incorporated her personality in all of the shots. The guitar shot is killer.
Wow, how awesome. I think as a photographer, when you look at other work you think, “I would have done it like this instead…” but your work comes off totally unexpected. There wasn’t anything cookie cutter about this, and it shines through. I bet she’s super pleased with these, I know I love them!
Nice work!! There are 2 images that really stand out for me, the 6th and 13th, I consider them to be awesome!!
Great pictures, she looks like she had a lot of fun.
Very cool set. You did a great job doing the most important thing for senior portraits; capturing a set of images that truly speak to the personality of the subject. I really like the grainy low light black and white shot downtown.
Wow. All these months later and I still can’t get used to it Heather. One of the best times I’ve ever had in front of a camera. My Rockstar-for-a-day dream came true because of you and your excellent attention to detail and personal interest. I’ll be contacting you when I get engaged (and then married *haha*) Love you!
What a fun session. Great use of the guitar- she totally looks like a Rock Star.
These were great, Heather! My faves are #1, 4
5 & 6, 15, 19 and 22.
Very interesting shots, great work.
These locations are just beautiful- very well-seen!
