Sometimes, good things find great people. …or is it great people find each other?

Katrece and Dominique met at Saxton High School here in Lansing, and couldn’t imagine a better place to kick off their engagement photographs! I can honestly say that this session resulted in the most gifs I have ever created- and that says a lot for the energy and fun of this amazing couple!

While walking the school grounds, we found a motorist stranded, waiting for a tow. His gorgeous car sparked an idea from Katrece and Dominique, and he graciously allowed us to use it while he waited!

The sunny day was taking a toll, so we stopped for some ice cream, date style. Can you spot the cameo?

Engagement photographs in Old Town, Lansing, are always gorgeous. I adore the bright colors and artsy style!

I couldn’t believe my eyes when music drifting from a local restaurant pulled Katrece and Dominique to the dance floor. I am SO excited for the dancing at the wedding!! It’s going to be EPIC!

As night fell, we sought out some drama in Downtown Lansing with lighting and location. I adore this one…

A flash composite (a combonation of shots separately lit by off camera flash and stitched together) made the final frame of the night memorable.
