Have you ever met someone so full of laughter that it lights you up to talk with them? People so genuinely happy and exuberant about life that you can’t help but love them…. with maybe a lemony twist of good-natured sarcasm thrown in for fun?
Aaron and Erin? They’re like that.
From their names to their goofy sense of humor, these two are a perfect match. Their wedding is going to be EPIC, and I am very proud and excited to reveal their engagement photographs!

We started out the session with a stroll through Old Town, Lansing. The Unicorn Tavern welcomed us for a quick quench…
….then, down to the Grand River boardwalk. I adore this spiral staircase!
I love throwing in secret spots… below is an area I’ve had an eye on for a while. Thanks for braving the walk out there, you guys- it was worth it!!
The park in Dewitt is always a fave of mine… lots of variety, and all of it gorgeous!
We had to have a bit of a swing jumping contest… but I still can’t tell who won…
The shot below just cracks me up EVERY TIME. New desktop wallpaper? Yes, please!
I was super impressed to hear abut how Aaron went about popping the question. Rather than pick out the actual ring for Erin, he presented to her a small ring with the image of a diamond on it, and told her that it would be a placeholder until she picked out the ring she truly wanted! It was a perfect plan for proposing to a woman who wants to pick out her ring without losing the sentiment. Erin says that she loves to wear both her rings. Awesome!
Finally, we wound down a bit and headed to downtown Lansing.
Being UCLA and UofM fans respectively, we had to pay tribute to team colors with some pretty ROCKIN hats.
But, of course, true love transcends all team divisions… as long as a game isn’t on 
For the last few shots of the day, we got creative with light and color for a dramatic effect. Love it!
